About the Foundation...
At Equitable Resources, we strongly believe that we owe our communities
more than reliable and safe natural gas products and services. We
have a proud history of contributing to the communities where we
do business, and a firm commitment to helping make a difference
on critical issues facing our society.
Every year, Equitable provides financial and volunteer support
to numerous agencies and nonprofit organizations. The majority of
our giving is concentrated in two focus areas
We’ve developed guidelines for funding to enable us to direct our
contributions and volunteer activities toward initiatives that support
these focus areas from the hundreds of requests we receive each
