Transmission and Storage
EQT Midstream operates transmission and storage assets throughout the Appalachian Basin.
In 1988, EQT responded to the Appalachian region’s need for deregulated natural
gas services with the creation of Equitrans, a gathering, storage and transmission
company servicing Western Pennsylvania and Northern West Virginia.
Equitrans has 14 natural gas storage reservoirs with approximately 500 MMcf per day
of peak delivery capability and 63 Bcf of storage capacity, of which 32 Bcf is working
gas.
