Big Sandy Pipeline
The Big Sandy Pipeline is a $150 million, 68-mile-long, 20-inch pipeline that runs
through eastern Kentucky. Completed in 2008, Big Sandy transports 130,000 dekatherms
of natural gas per day, 365 days a year.
Equitrans
In 1988, EQT responded to the Appalachian region’s need for deregulated natural
gas services with the creation of Equitrans, a gathering, storage and transmission
company servicing Western Pennsylvania and Northern West Virginia.
Equitrans has 14 natural gas storage reservoirs with approximately 496 MMcf per day
of peak delivery capability and 63 Bcf of storage capacity, of which 32 Bcf is working
gas.
