In 2023, EQT partnered with the Pittsburgh Penguins with their Penguins Pledge program as a Champion level partner and as the official net zero partner of the team.

Junior Achievement BizTown Partnership
EQT is proud to partner with Junior Achievement of WesternPA, an organization dedicated to preparing students for future success through hands-on learning experiences in work readiness, financial literacy and entrepreneurship. As a storefront partner in JA BizTown®, EQT provides fifth-grade students with an immersive, day-long experience where they become employees, manage businesses, make financial decisions and experience how acommunity works together. The newly redesigned EQT experience introduces students to the natural gas industry through an engaging, project-based simulation. Working as an EQT team, students take on the roles of CEO, CFO, Operations Manager, Engineer, Land Agent and Safety Coordinator. Together, they negotiate land agreements, obtain permits, build a drilling rig, construct a pipeline, practice pipeline safety and sell natural gas to another BizTown business. Along the way, students respond to real-world operational challenges, manage project costs and work toward building the greatest amount of equity by making smart business decisions. Throughout the simulation, students also discover what makes EQT successful beyond energy production. They experience the company's commitment to safety through the FOCUS program, practice EQT's core values of Trust, Teamwork, Heart and Evolution, and learn how businesses create lasting value by supporting their communities. The experience concludes with the EQT CEO reflecting on the team's accomplishments and presenting a donation to the BizTown Mayor, reinforcing the importance of community investment and responsible corporate citizenship.
